The Yang-Amat Berbahagia Tengku Mahkota of Hulu Langat is the title of the largely symbolic state Sultan of the Hulu Langat city of Ampang.
The official residence of the Sultan is The Istana Daerah Hulu Langat, located along Jalan Kosas Utama.

Tengku Nor Zilan ibni Abdul Latif is the first Tengku Mahkota of Hulu Langat (Sultan) of the Malaysian state of Selangor before his son Putera Sulong Anakanda Nor Izwan Izzat will be taken his place when the Istana Daerah Hulu Langat finished with its renovation at the end of 2012. Putera kedua Anakanda Nor Muhammad Hadi will take Putera Sulong's place when he rules with maximum 5 years of service in the palace.
Tengku Nor Zilan is still working as an Executive in Maybank Tower (Malay: Menara Maybank) a major skyscraper and landmark in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Located near Puduraya on the eastern fringe of the old Kuala Lumpur city centre, the tower is the headquarters of Maybank, and houses the Maybank Numismatic Museum.
His father is the head of a mosque somewhere in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur after retired from being a policeman in Johor for about 15 years now.
